What Trucks Are Affected by the California Diesel Trucks Regulation?

The regulation applies to all diesel fueled trucks older than 2011 with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) greater than 14,000 pounds.

  • Compliance Requirements for Trucks GVWR 26,000 Pounds or Less.

    The Truck Model Year Schedule for these trucks below lists the compliance dates that will apply to the phase out of older trucks concluding in 2023.

    • 2000 & older - Expired
    • 2003 - 2010 - EXPIRED

  • Compliance Requirements for Trucks GVWR 26,001 Pounds or More.

    • 2000 & older - EXPIRED
    • 2001 to 2010 - EXPIRED
